Boyzone

Boyzone er et irsk boyband, som havde den største succes op gennem 90'erne. De havde mest succes i hjemlandet Irland, Australien, New Zealand, Asien og i Storbritannien. I resten af Europa havde de også succes men i forskellig grad.

Boybandet blev dannet i 1993 af Louis Walsh, som også var manager for Eurovision Song Contest-vinderen Johnny Logan og Westlife. Gruppen bestod af Ronan Keating, Mikey Graham, Keith Duffy, Shane Lynch og Stephen Gately.

Boybandets første album "Said and Done" blev udgivet i 1995. Gruppen havde 6 nummer 1 UK hit singles.^{[kilde mangler]} Det er blevet til 7 albums, det seneste i 2008.

Stephen Gately døde den 10. oktober 2009 under en ferie sammen med sin mand, Andy Cowles.

Ronan Keating var vært for Eurovision Song Contest 1997, hvor også Boyzone optrådte. I 2009 havde han en sang med i Dansk Melodi Grand Prix. "Believe Again" sunget af Brinck.
