Fox Broadcasting Company


FOX Broadcasting Company, pengganti Metromedia, ialah penyiaran rangkaian televisyen dan stesyen radio yang dilancarkan pada tahun 1986. FOX merupakan rangkaian televisyen yang diterima baik Amerika Syarikat maupun antarbangsa, baik langsung maupun lewat internet. Sejak pelancaranya pada 09 Oktober 1986, Fox yang ditumbuh kepada status kadar tinggi rangkaian siaran dalam 18–49 demografik dari 2004 hingga 2009. Pada musim 2007–08, Fox menjadi rangkaian yang lebih popular di Amerika dalam kadaran rumah umum, sebelum CBS. Pada musim 2008-09 ia yang diletakkan tempat kedua dalam kadaran, selepas CBS.

Syarikat Penyiaran Fox menjalankan banyak saluran hiburan secara antarabangsa, termasuklah di Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Chile, Germany, Japan, India, Italy, Mexico, Portugal, Amerika Selatan, Amerika Pusat, Serbia, Korea Selatan, Spain, dan Turkey, walaupun tidak menyiarkan rancangan sama dengan rangkaian A.S. Rangkaian ini dinamakan selepas syarikat 20th Century Fox, dan seorang penerbit William Fox, yang menubuhkan satu daripada studio filem dahulunya, Fox Film.

Ada pelbagai acara yang ia produksi, yakni Power Rangers (kini disiarkan di semua saluran Disney: ABC, Toon Disney, Jetix/Disney XD dan Disney Channel), Bobby's World, The Tick, Eerie, Indiana dan Goosebumps. Bahkan beberapa acara Warner Bros. seperti Tiny Toon Adventures, Animaniacs dan Batman: The Animated Series juga ia tayangkan ketika The WB menayangkan Kids' WB!.

Pada tahun 2002, Fox Kids diambil alih oleh 4Kids Entertainment dan Syarikat Walt Disney. Namun, pada tanggal 27 Disember 2008, Fox Box/4Kids TV dibubarkan kerana sengketa penyiaran ehwal.
