Proconsulidae

Los proconsúlidos (Proconsulidae) son una familia extinta de primates que vivió durante el Mioceno en África.^[1]​

Los miembros de esta familia tienen una mezcla de caracteres que hacen que su emplazamiento en la superfamilia Hominoidea sea provisional.
