Michael Calfan

Michael Calfan es un rapero, DJ y productor francés de música electrónica.

Biografía

Michael Calfan nació en 1990 y es oriundo de París, Francia. Inspirado en los grandes artistas del french touch, especialmente Modjo, Daft Punk y Demon,^[1] en 2008, fue descubierto por Bob Sinclar quien lo presentó como uno de los artistas más prometedores de su sello Yellow Productions.^[2]

A fines de 2011, el productor sueco Axwell lo incorpora a su discográfica Axtone Records para el lanzamiento de "Resurrection" que a su vez se convirtió en un éxito en las pistas de baile, obteniendo la primera posición durante más de un mes en la lista de ventas del portal digital Beatport.^[3]

En 2012, lanzaría la producción llamada "Mozaik" por Stealth Records, el sello de Roger Sanchez,^[4] y realizó destacadas remezclas para David Guetta de los sencillos "Turn Me On" y "She Wolf (Falling to Pieces)" y para Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike del sencillo "Momentum".^[5]

En 2013 lanzó producciones en colaboración del sueco John Dahlbäck y el holandés Fedde Le Grand.

En 2014 lanzó para Spinnin' Records los sencillos "Prelude" (ingresó en el Billboard Dance/Mix Show Airplay)^[6]^[7] y "Treasured Soul", el cual alcanzó el número 17 en la lista de sencillos del Reino Unido en abril de 2015.^[8]^[9]

"Mercy" y "Breaking the Doors" fueron sus sencillos sucesores, mostrando su evolucionado sonido, que llevó al lanzamiento de "Nobody Does It Better" en 2016.

En 2018 lanzó a través de Warner Music los sencillos "On You", "Got You" y "It's Wrong".^[10]
