American singer Sabrina Carpenter has recorded songs for five studio albums and two extended plays (EPs), as well as other collaborative projects. Interested in music from a young age, Carpenter began posting covers of songs on YouTube at age 10. She started her career as a solo singer in 2014, after gaining popularity in various television shows, competition programs, and signing with Disney label Hollywood Records. All of the songs from her debut EP Can't Blame a Girl for Trying (2014) were included on her debut studio album, Eyes Wide Open, released in April 2015. The singer co-wrote nine out of the ten songs from her second album, Evolution (2016), and the enterity of her following projects, Singular: Act I (2018) and Singular: Act II (2019). Her 2021 standalone single "Skin" was her first to chart on the Billboard Hot 100.

Her fifth studio album Emails I Can't Send (2022), received favorable reviews from music critics and was included in lists of the best albums of the year. It is her highest-charting album on the Billboard 200, and its singles "Nonsense" and "Feather", the latter appearing in the deluxe edition, reached the top 60 in the U.S. Carpenter wrote all the songs, with collaborators Julia Michaels, Amy Allen, Skyler Stonestreet and Steph Jones. In 2023, the singer released her second EP, Fruitcake, which contains a cover of the song "White Christmas". She has also contributed songs to the soundtracks of Teen Beach 2 (2015), Sierra Burgess Is a Loser (2018), and Clouds (2020), among others.
