2022–23 New York Knicks season


The 2022–23 New York Knicks season was the 77th season of the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA). On April 2, 2023, the Knicks clinched a playoff spot after missing the playoffs in the previous season. In the first round of the 2023 NBA playoffs, they faced the Cleveland Cavaliers, winning the series in five games. The Knicks were eliminated from the playoffs in the conference semifinals by the Miami Heat in six games.

Draft

The Knicks entered the draft holding one first round and one second round picks. The Knicks used their 11th overall pick to select Ousmane Dieng who was then traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder, while the 42nd overall pick was used to select Trevor Keels.
