United Democratic Andean Revolutionary Front of Peru

The United Democratic Andean Revolutionary Front of Peru (FUDARP) was an alliance between the Militarized Communist Party of Peru (MPCP) and the Plurinational Association of Tawantinsuyo Reservists (ASPRET) formed in 2017, with the objective of reconciling the two armed groups.

History

The United Front was established in 2017 following agreements reached by the leaders of both factions: Víctor Quispe Palomino, alias "Comrade José", (MPCP) and Eddy Villarroel Medina, alias "Comandate Sacha" (ASPRET). On 22 April 2017, ASPRET released a video of Medina and Palimino discussing the creation of a United front. After the agreement, Medina became a spokesperson for the MPCP.

The united front was dissolved in 2022, following allegations by ASPRET that the MCPC was supporting Pedro Castillo and the Free Peru during the 2021 Peruvian general election. Following the dissolution of the front, Medina alleged that Vladimir Cerrón, former governor of Junín, of having connections to the MCPC.
