2024–25 Inter Milan season


The 2024–25 season will be the 117th season in the existence of Inter Milan, which have all been played in the top division of Italian football. In addition to the domestic league, Inter will participate in this season's editions of the Coppa Italia, the Supercoppa Italiana, the UEFA Champions League and the new, expanded format of the FIFA Club World Cup.

Season summary

Pre-season

Following the historic 20th scudetto victory, on 22 May 2024, Suning relinquished control of its controlling stake in Inter Milan after it failed to repay the €395 million it owed Oaktree Capital Management, with the American firm taking 99.6% control of the club. On 4 June, Inter shareholders approved the new board of directors, and CEO Giuseppe Marotta was named president of the club. On 11 June, the club announced the contract extension for midfielder and vice-captain Nicolò Barella until 2029.
