Field of Fire (film)

Field of Fire is a 1991 American film directed by Cirio H. Santiago for Roger Corman starring David Carradine. It is also known as Battle Gear.

Premise

A man leads a platoon on a rescue mission.

Production

Filming took place in the Philippines.

Footage from the film was later reused in Santiago's 1993 film Kill Zone.

Reception

Comeuppance Reviews called it "generic Vietnam stuff with all the standard moments and no surprises and nothing memorable."

Another review called it "an efficiently crafted film.. a competent rescue mission film giving the audience all the expected motifs within the genre such as suspense and tension within the rescue team."
